Albert is an experienced banker, having served at Credit Agricole Indosuez, Gibraltar, for 36 years in different managerial roles, right up until the branch’s closure in 2004. During this period he acquired a wide experience in both front and back office work although his main role was related to operations and the general administration of the branch.
Albert was involved in the introduction of the SWIFT system within the local banking community which greatly enhanced Gibraltar’s interbank communication worldwide. He was also part of the steering committee when the local clearing system was established in Gibraltar.
Albert joined Line Group in March 2004 as Head of the Banking Department. He leads a team of 12 employees, all with banking experience, who handle banking relationships worldwide. His team is responsible from the account opening stage all the way through to the control of transactions, which includes verification and release of payments. Albert is instrumental in ensuring strong anti-fraud measures are maintained due to the sensitivity of the Department’s activities.
Albert is a Member of the Chartered Management Institute.
